The workhorse paving binder for highways in hot and temperate climates.
Grade 60/70 is the most widely specified paving bitumen in hot and temperate climates. Its penetration range of 60–70 dmm at 25 °C sits between the harder 40/50 and the softer 85/100 — stiff enough to resist rutting under heavy axle loads, flexible enough to avoid thermal cracking.
It is the default binder for national highway programmes across the Indian subcontinent, South-East Asia and much of Africa, which is why it accounts for the large majority of the volume we move.

Conforming to ASTM D946 and AASHTO M20. Where a destination applies its own national standard — IS 73 in India, for example — the cargo is produced and certified to that standard on request at the time of contract.
Bitumen 40/50 and 85/100, viscosity grades VG-30 and VG-40 for the Indian market, and cutback and emulsion feedstock can be supplied against firm enquiry.
Highways, urban roads and airport pavements — base, binder and wearing courses in asphalt concrete.
Surface dressing and chip seal, where a stiff binder holds aggregate under repeated loading.
Cutback bitumen, bitumen emulsion, waterproofing membranes and roofing felt.
Grade, quantity, packing and destination port is all we need to come back with a written offer, a full specification and a delivery window.
